A very successful businessman wanted to help me when I arrived in the US.  He said to me

Once your DIRECT Customer base is hooked on your product, here is what I did - 

​

I said: "For your convenience, please request the product from any of your local independent stores."   Many obliged and rapidly I was getting calls from stores all over the country requesting my products.

Of course, I also told them to whom to make the request - The Grocery Manager.
